Abstract
Ventricular arrhythmias in healthy young dogs are rare, and if documented, they are infrequent and benign. However, we have identified severe ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death in young German Shepherd Dogs. This disorder is inherited, and we believe, more prevalent within this breed than is currently recognized. This report reviews the results of our investigation of this disease.
