Abstract
In this paper we propose some generic exten- sions to the general selection concept of a Ge- netic Algorithm (GA). These bionically in- spired interrelated further developments aim to make the algorithm more open for scal- ability on the one hand, and to stabilize the performance of weaker crossover opera- tors on the other hand without necessitat- ing the development of new coding standards and operators for certain problems. Further- more, the underlying Genetic Algorithm is unrestrictedly included in all of the newly proposed hybrid variants under especial set- tings.
