Abstract

A simple extension of efficient methods for utilizing relationships among sires in their evaluation by best linear unbiased prediction can be used for evaluation of multiple traits. The method is illustrated by defining first and second lactation records as two different traits. Computations are similar to those used in Cornell's Northeast AI Sire Comparison method.
