Heritability of graduation from a Guide Dog training program

Abstract

Pedigree and training information of Guide Dog graduation was recorded for dogs born between the years 1965-2012 (n>5000). All dogs belonged to the same guide dog organization and were raised and trained within the same organization. Pedigree information on Labrador retriever, Golden retriever and their crosses was analyzed (n=2398).
